toutenkamion developed its own task-specific software and has developed its own high performance analytical accounting software from the supplier documentation, to the archiving and purchases in order to link-in quality management, production management and lead time sales department predictions.

Our whole information system is available on 40 computers in the network. This network is articulated around 2 redundant servers, one is a safeguarding server and one optical cables going to computers. Interactive and predictive lead times enable the sales staff to simulate an eventual order at the same time as the real orders and delay of manufacturing in course, that is to say to forecast the workload, week after week, of the 10 Crafts of the Company, before and after an eventual order so that sales promises can really be kept !

The daily management of the quality plan and lead times is under the responsibility of the truck chiefs responsible of the realization of a unit and the corresponding data. This organisation means that the craft head is highly implicated both at his own level and the overall objective level.

This organisation works like a differential and avoids production extra charge of each truck chief (respect of Peter’s limit).

We also had to write the postprocessor, connecting the Computer–aided Design to NUM 760, because there was none until now.

The R&D department and control room entrance/exit have been merged in a new building more in the centre of 1200 m2.
